For the benefit of all Sri Lankan housewives and all others who have an interest in authentic Sri Lankan culinary art, immediately after the 1st publication of "a Ceylon Cookery Book", the 1st Sinhala translation was published in 1964 by Late Doreen Peiris.

"Lanka Supa Shasthara" has been in wider circulation for the past 53 years



"Lanka Supa Shasthraya" -  was approved by the Secretary, Educational  Book Publications Advisory Board, Ministry of Education, as a reference book on Home Science for all School Libraries in the Country since 11th September 1966.
